Our Mundane Supernatural Life

Fiona and Stephanie sit down together for a story of yarn, sheep, and being possessed by an electricity villain. Fiona is Emily Ostby, a yarn store owner who is preparing for a big re-opening event and interview with a famous knitting pattern designer. Stephanie is G.I.M.A., a robot built by the city who gained sentience and now continues to help out with infrastructure repair while also teaching kids about electricity and crushing hard on her roommate.

Our Mundane Supernatural Life is by Vee Hendro and Hayley Gordon and published by Storybrewers. It’s a cozy, 1-shot game about two people who care about each other but also have commitments in two very different worlds.

Though Our Mundane Supernatural Life is not necessarily about superheroes, we found that it’s perfect to tell the kind of domestic stories that we love but never get to see in published superhero comics.
